American writer Claire Messud, Scottish novelist Ali Smith and CBC broadcaster Michael Enright are the trio who will be judging Canada's most prestigious literary award, the Giller Prize.Messud is the critically acclaimed writer of the Emperor's Children, she's written four books and contributes widely to publications such as the New York Times and the Boston Globe. Smith has written eight books including the Accidental, which was shortlisted for the Orange Prize and the Booker Prize.Enright is a veteran CBC broadcaster and journalist.
